This body of work examines generated power along with generated ideas in connection with transmission, communication and information. ‘Generated’ indirectly pays homage to the humble power pole and pylon and its significance today for providing the energy to electrify our homes and the transmission of visual imagery to our lives.

Other aspects of Maxine's work are the ideas that go along with being able to use the power to investigate issues of political, social and humanitarian concerns.
